Interested in joining a new organization on campus that focuses on serving the community while making connections and having a blast in the process?? Join LEA, a proud Latine family!!
Our purpose is to advocate for immigrants' rights, such as passing a pathway to citizenship, while empowering and creating a community within the Latine population on campus. As a chapter of United We Dream(UWD) we host workshops and other programs to educate the community on what UWD fights for in our DC community. We strive to prepare and mentor young high school folks of Latine identity for higher education and future success.
Throughout the year we hold community circle gatherings and fun social events centered around Latine culture for our students here at AU!
