Definitions:
Abroad
- member is participating in an AU approved Study Abroad program. No paperwork required - will be verified by FSL Staff.
*Note - Abroad members will stay on the chapter's roster, be required to pay Council Dues, and be on the chapter's Grade Report (pending transfer of abroad grades).
Early Alumni/Alumnae
- a member who is still enrolled as an undergraudate student, but is not an active member within the organization with no intent in being Active in the future. Documentation must be submitted from either the Inter/National Organization's Headquarters or from the Chapter/Graduate Advisor.
Graduated
- this status is for members who have been granted/awarded a Bachelor's degree. FSL staff will confirm this by checking the student's unofficial transcript within Eagle Service.
Inactive
- a member who has limited ability to participate in any chapter function for the current semester and with an intent to return to Active status next semester. Documentation must be submitted from either the Inter/National Organization's Headquarters or from the Chapter/Graduate Advisor.

Not Enrolled
- a member who is not taking any classes at AU for the current semester, or has transferred out of AU. No documentation needed - verified by FSL Staff.
Not Initiated
- a new member who dropped or withdrew from the chapter's new member education process, after accepting a membership invitation and before the ceremony of initiation. Documentation must be submitted from either the Inter/National Organization's Headquarters or from the Chapter/Graduate Advisor.
Resigned/Disaffiliated/Demit/Dropped
- a member who has chosen to, or is forced to, cancel their membership within the organization. Resigned/Disaffiliated/Demit/Dropped members typically cannot call themselves as a member of the organization no longer. Documentation must be submitted from either the Inter/National Organization's Headquarters or from the Chapter/Graduate Advisor.
Suspended/Removed
- member was suspended, or forced to remove themselves, from the organization by Chapter Leadership or by the inter/national organization's headquarters, with the intent of not returning back to the chapter. Suspended/removed members typically cannot call themselves as a member of the organization no longer. Documentation must be submitted from either the Inter/National Organization's Headquarters or from the Chapter/Graduate Advisor.
